Field Of Dreams

The Field Of Dreams show, sponsored by the Plaines Project, will be a collaborative art event and action in East Pilsen in which we will creatively appropriate the urban landscape and rejuvenate it with art activity. We invite artists of all sorts to help us activate a vacant lot that is over 20,000 sq ft large through the creation and installation of artworks on the site.  Together we will transform this dead, underutilized space into a  sculpture garden that is open to anyone who is interested in using it.  If we succeed, the Field Of Dreams will become an autonomous zone of art that is will continue to change and grow organically over time (well after Version Fest is wrapped up), as people come in and out and use it how they please.  We will celebrate the opening of the Field Of Dreams with a BBQ on Sunday 4/27.   If you are interested in participating or have any questions, please e-mail plainesproject@gmail.com .  If we build it, they will come!!
